Progyluton is a drug that is usually prescribed for women with abnormal uterine bleeding to regulate the menstrual cycle. It contains estradiol and norgestrel. The dose of oestrogen and progesterone is quite low and so it does not prevent pregnancy.
Progyluton Tablet is used for Decrease pain and blood loss from a certain menstrual condition, Vasomotor symptoms associated with the menopause, Prevent pregnancy, Primary ovarian failure, Vulvar and vaginal atrophy associated with the menopause, Hypoestrogenism due to hypogonadism, Advanced androgen-dependent carcinoma of the prostate and other conditions. Progyluton Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
