Betnesol 0.5 mg tablet belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids which have anti-inflammatory and immune system suppressing activity. It prevents late phase allergic reactions by decreasing the chemicals responsible for the allergy

How should I use this medication?
The usual recommended dose of betamethasone enema is one enema used each night for 2 to 4 weeks. Your doctor may recommend that you continue treatment beyond 4 weeks if you are responding well to treatment
